Spring Beautification 2026 was a success! Thank you to every volunteer who came out to make the Hamlet of Mendon shine. Details for next year's event coming soon.
Every spring, MCBA members and community volunteers come together for a morning of planting, cleaning, and sprucing up the Hamlet of Mendon. Volunteers gather at Mendon Station Park at 9:00 AM, get organized into teams, and spend two hours making our community shine.
This year's projects include weeding and mulching tree beds along the trail, planting annuals in the large elevated flower bed, sprucing up the railroad track display, cleaning the stairs to Assembly Drive, and a new initiative to plant coordinated annuals at the four corners intersection of Rt. 251 and Rt. 64.
Open to everyone — families, scouts, church groups, retirees, and anyone who wants to dig in the dirt and help. All supplies are provided, but feel free to bring your own gardening gloves and tools.
Businesses and individuals can donate items for the volunteer raffle. Drop off at At Home With Wellness (1371 Pittsford-Mendon Road) by May 13th, or bring to an MCBA meeting.
Funds go toward flowers, breakfast for volunteers, and raffle prizes. Every dollar helps make the hamlet shine.
All funds go directly toward supporting this event and MCBA community activities. MCBA is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization.
Stick around for the Mendon Festival!
Sunday, May 17 — Live music, food, crafts & community fun. Free admission.
